Jindai no Ki

(literally "Wood of God"s Gift") is sometimes called "ancient log" or "long-sleeping log" that has accidentally been found during construction or excavation. The logs have been long long time buried under ground from the Stone Age to so-called the "Jomon Period" (1300 BC to 300BC) in Japan. Some Jindai no ki logs are miraculously damage free from a harmful inspect or have no corrosion which have been highly valued and prized by cabinet makers, sculptor artists or industrial entities due to its unique color variations and strength of their wooden fibers that often show extremely high water resistance. In other countries as well, those logs are used as materials of personal ornaments of a musical instruments such as a mandolin in Europe. We has processed materials using their kiln-drying and sawmill facilities for artwork lines.

Those Jindai logs material have unique characteristics of beautiful textures and colors that are usually 5000 years or older. Some of them have been found after repeated volcano eruption at Fukushima prefecture( east coast of Japan). The wood materials are such as a zelkova, a Japanese oak, a horse chestnut, a cherry tree, a chestnut, and cedar. They had been washed away in pyroclastic flow of eruption of the volcano to a foot of mountains, then travel led through pains by the river to come all the way to the west coast of Japan, some then jumped into the Japan Sea near the Niigata plains.
